Commercial Description:
An overwhelming earthy floral aroma leaps out of the glass and slaps you in the face due to the huge amounts of whole leaf Golding hops used to dry hop the beer. A spicy hop flavor arises from late flavor additions in the kettle and through more whole leaf hop cones in our hop-back. A combination of select specialty barleys imparts a soft, fruity maltiness.

Cloudy tangerine. Scattered large and small white bubbles. Bushy hop (clearly EKGs) aromas intermingle with nectarine, white pepper, pumpkin stem, lightly-toasted crackery malts, paint and a nutty, earthy yeast anchor. Extremely soft body. Soft, fizzy carbonation. Simplistic orange zest bitterness bludgeons the light toastiness. Hop bitterness climaxes at mid stage underneath a hint of paint and wood. Round, peppery hop finish and lingering nectarine and earthy hop flavors with trace amounts of malt. Nutty yeast notes substitute for the malt sweetness and also add some chalky dryness. Overall, the soft body clashes with the bushy, earthy hops. Not to mention the near lack of any type of balancing malt sweetness to separate it from scores of other average, one-dimensional IPAs. Very mediocre Americanized British-style IPA.

Medium hop smell. I Poured it out of a bottle and it doesn't look real pretty. It's an opaque copper color with tiny bits of yeast. A thin white head. Very strong hop bitterness, but very good. A standard above average IPA. Not sure about the ABV but I think it packs a little punch.

Clear, light orange-gold. Head white, big, and puffy. Nose floral, a bit citric. Hops noticeable, tart, balanced by a bready maltiness. A bit oddly sweet, also has a mildy unpleasant unpleasant bitterness to it.

This is my pick of the GA IPA's and will rate right up with all of them. It starts with an assertive hop presence in the aroma which is clean, floral, and refreshing. The hop bittereness is ever so slightly more present that the malty character of this beer. Hops and malt harmonize right to the dry crispy finish of this beer. Under rated.

Hazy copper hue with small white head and very good lace. The aroma is light grapefruit, pine, sweet malts, pepper, earthy yeast esters, and some aromatic floral hops too. The taste starts bitter and twangy. The good base of malt is detected with some biscuit character. A spicy undertone adds depth to the palate. The finish is dry and bitter. The mouthfeel is lively and crisp. A good IPA as it's part west-coast and part traditional. I enjoyed this brew, recommended. Thanks Captain Cougar for the trade.

This newly bottled brew was bottled for us right at the brewery with no label. I have piece of masking tape on it reminding me what it is. This brew pours a medium sized head offine to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that leave behind a fair lace and a nazy yeaty carbonated yellow brown colored body. The aroma is a mildly hopped malty one with mild notes of yeasty dough, The mouthfeel is hoppy with a medium strength bite and arelatively smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is hoppy with mild spices. I liked this as an IPA for its mildness and nice all arouynd appeal compared to the over the top hopped IPAs.
