| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2007 Shared by KP at DLD. Light brown in color. Very faint aroma of malt and not much else. The flavor is thin. Some caramel malts and a very strange earthy flavor don’t mix well. patrick767 (2038), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 2, 2007 growler from DLD - Pours hazy brown with obvious caramel malt in the aroma but something else too that seemed a little off. Sweet caramel malt really dominates the flavor and there’s not much hops to be found. It’s easy drinking, light to medium bodied, and has a mild finish. Not bad, but not too impressive... still, this is my 2nd rating in a row of a brew from an out of business brewery. Sorry to see that... sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2007 Draft at KP’s cellar bar. Hazy burgundy/brown pour, thick cobwebs of lace. Lightly toasty aroma has trace scents of nuts, bready malts and yeast. simple but somewhat alluring. Sweet malt is most pronounced in the flavor, along with more nuttiness, cracked peppercorns, odd spicy yeast and toast. Thin palate, but smooth and quaffable. Finishes medium dry and brief. Twice the pleasant aroma and flavor near room temperature. Not bad. Dickinsonbeer (3496), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2006 On tap at KP’s cellar bar. Thanks Kieth! Pours a dark brown, mostly clear, and nice lace. Aroma is nice and toasty and bready with slight nutty malts as well. Good malt sweetness mixed with fruity esters as well. Flavor profile still tasted pretty fresh despite this not being brewed in a while. Malty, clean toasted biscuit malt, and a clean finish. Nice.
