Bottle from trade with Goldtwins a while back. Thanks Larry! EA pours a cloudy, opaque orange color with an off white head. Thats lasts, and lasts, and lasts. Very nice retention. Smell is of dark fruits, caramel malts, alcohol, and some citrusy hops. Kinda reminded me of some de dolle beers I have smelled. Flavor is sweet and chewy, fermented orange juice noted, with some bitter hops in the finish. Alcohol much more hidden in the flavor than the nose, but still noticeable. This stuff is strong, but very enjoyable to sip on. Might have to save the rest of the 22oz bottle for later tonight. Overall, a totally excellent adventure indeed!

Bottle shared by TheBeerCellar2 at ’07 DLD. Clear orange color with a whispy yellowish head. The nose is very complex with deep, dark fruits and the tantilizing oxidation of age. Sticky caramel sweetness with juicy pit fruit, orange, leather, and the metallic patina of a very nice aged beer. Very nice.

Rich copper in colour, lingering off white/beige coloured head, some lacing. The aroma is of lots of caramel malts, very sweet, lots of noticable alcohol, light orange citrus. The flavour is very hot, lots of caramel malt sweetness, chewy, hoppy, way too much alcohol. Hot bitter mouthfeel, medium/large body, high carbonation. Finishes hot, lingering, hoppy. There is no balance in this whatsoever, alcohol dominates all aspects of this beer.

650ml bottle shared by <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>beerhugger, thanks Steve.

poured amber in color with an off white head. Had a sweet aroma with carmel tones. Had a great fruitty flavor and palate. Alcohol seemed hidden the entire time.

Provided by Styles. Clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is caramel, toffee, pine and fruit juice. The flavor is cherry, toffee, citrus and herbal. Medium body is soft with moderste carbonation.

22 oz. bomber on a trade from TheBeerCellar2. Thanks Matt! Pours a hazy orange, amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of oranges, brown sugar and alcohol. Amazing smooth and sweet and the alcohol is very well hidden. Taste of malt, caramel and plums. Nice, well rounded finish that leaves you wanting more. Excellent indeed!

Hand bottled 22oz from Goldtwins: Pours a muddy and cloudy orange, almost brown. Great aroma with a ton of alcohol and citrus. I am amazed by how much alcohol is in the nose, smells sorta like a screwdriver. Half a finger white head. The taste is very malty and citrusy. Not that much alcohol in the taste which is surprising considering the aroma. Its a pretty sweet carmelly and juicy beer. The hops really combine with the malt to produce a unique flavor. The closest thing i have tasted to oj in beer drinking. And i mean that in a very good way. Some lingering citrusy hop bitterness. Very satisfying.
