Not too over powering for taste. Will defietly drink this one again. BBB63 (4238), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2004 Brown hue with amber highlights producing a thin frothy tan head and some lace. The aroma hints of roasted burnt malts, coffee, mocha, and floral hops. The taste starts malty and hints of mocha. Undertones of bitterness runs throughout. The finish displays some coffee, smoky tones. This thin to medium-bodied brew has a gritty and soft mouthfeel. A good stout, quaffable. craven5000 (55), Westville, Indiana, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 2, 2004 Rather quickly dying tan head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Dark brown/black body. A full mouth feel but not heavy. Smooth and sweet with hints of coffee and chocolate. A light but long bitter finish. Excellent. Eirikur (301), Alftanes, Iceland

Sweet smoky aroma. Creamy coffee flavour. Hints of fresh hops - nice!

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 21, 2004 Arome is lots of roasted malt, with some coffe notes. Taste is also very roasted, but nice on the tongue, some hops and chocolate, with a bitter finish... good brew maltdog (517), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 2, 2004 Creamy and lacy mocha head floats atop a saturated brown, strong-coffee-colored body. Enticing hazelnut, cappucino, and fudge brownies in the aroma. Divine dark rum and vanilla notes as well. Flavor is robust yet smooth, rich coffee or Kahlua, chocolate, and pecan praline. Satiny and mousselike on the tongue. Restrained bittersweet aftertaste (Lindt "Excellence" 70% Cocoa fine dark chocolate, if you've ever had it), and just a kiss of earthy hop. Extremely smooth and flavorful. Hangover (769), Atlanta, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 17, 2004 Jet black pour with a small reddish head which doesn't last long. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee and some sweet chocolate notes as well. Flavor is pretty rich... with an upfront taste of coffee and malts with a hint of sweetness coming through towards the end. Finish is dry and only slightly bitter. This is kinda like a 'sweet stout light'... and I like it. Not a bad offering from this atlanta brewery. Definitely recommended.
