Grains are the noticable aroma folowed by subtle spices and then a hint of orange. Mostly a wheat taste, not much spice at all. Slightly dry finish. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA

This is definitely one of the best Wits I have tried, even if it is not the best example of the style. In fact, many of the elements in a more classic version of the style that I do not enjoy are not a factor in this brew. Pours a murky dark orange with a thin off-white head. Thin lacing. Nicely spiced aroma, with some citrus and vanilla. Light and crisp with a nice citrus aspect, along with yeast, cloves, coriander and other spices. The finish is sweet and lingering. Tbis is an outstanding brew for summer enjoyment. wunderbier (1271), Tampere, Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2003 Updated: Jul 8, 2003Update (7/8/03): subpar label construction. Original (7/7/03): Darker than your typical wit. Amber/orange body with a fully dimishing frothy, white head. Aroma of grain, herbs, dough, and corriander. Moderately sweet throughout with a moderately bitter finish. A good local brew for me. Leaves the mouth feeling refreshed. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 9, 2003 Kind of like a spiced American wheat-none of the yeast charecter of a Belgian Wit. Still, a pleasant, refreshing beer with a nice citrus-y aroma and flavor. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2003 More of a spiced beer than a true wit.Hazy orange with spicy aromas. Medium bodied with tasty caramel malt and orange juice flavors. Substantial, with an accent on spices. Dry finish. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2002 Re-Rate 10/14/02: The beer pours a somewhat hazey golden amber color, the head is modest, the lace namby-pamby, off white in color. Nose is malt, hints of citrus, clean and fresh. The front malt and slightly sweet, the top light, the finish is monstrously acidic, minimally dry, pleasureably hopped. A quite good ’Session’ beer. Ranks #735 on my current 1000 master beer list belgianhomebrew (646), Acworth, Georgia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jun 15, 2002 A very crisp and spicy witbier. A pleasant surprise. Not really all that wit-ish in its appearance (it’s more golden amber colored). Coriander seems to be in here with all the spices. Check this one out.
