-No head whatsoever is sported by the orange golden tint.
-Sweet tropical fruitiness merges with the caramel maltiness.
-Candied fruitiness and many kinds of cereal (rye being evident) propose a sugary, yeasty treat.
-The low, delicate carbonation makes room for the near-syrupy maltiness.
What if you dig deeper?
-A rather sweet orientation evokes the able maltiness, but might bother some.
-Ultimately, this feels like it was much brighter a few years ago.
-Pineapples, oranges, cantaloups form a complex fruitiness.
-A strong ale without any specific origins, a fun try, but yet another disappointment due to aging.

Sweet malt aroma with orange, nutmeg and maderized honey. Sweet malt with touch of coriander, maple and orange peels, nice and smooth. A bit oxidized i believe as i got some cardboard notes. still, a very nice trade from GT. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Hold on she’s gonna blow! I watched as TheBeerCellar2 tried to tame this beast. He was like the little Dutch Boy trying to hold back the sea with his finger in the dike!
It just didn’t want to settle down and allow itself to be poured. Having sat in his cellar for four years it was no wonder. Fearing a possible infection, we were all relieved when after the first taste, it was pronounced to be good and the pouring commenced.
Medum gold with a frothy head.
Nice funky Belgian aroma
Lightly sweet with a light body, this was a very well done Belgian style. Another good reason to get Crawford Moran back to brewing and the sooner the better. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA

Pours hazy gold, with lighter fruits (orange and apple) and spicy aroma. Move fruits in the flavor, with nice malt back and some yeastiness. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2005 Poured a hazy gold and orange color. The aroma had apples and cherries. The taste made me think of cherry flavored bubblegum. There was also brown sugar and light nutmeg. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2005 This was very similar to many belgian blondes Ive had. <ahem> Beers! Anyway this poured a murky orange. It had a very musky presence to it. A lot of spices and sour citrus flavor was present. Might be past its prime but it was doable. brentfeesh (1038), Gadsden, Alabama, USA

Thanks again, I share in your sadness at this brewers closing. Poured a hazy yellow orange in my glass. The aroma was pleasant with light fruit and spice. The flavor was a mellow sweetness that I described as marshmallow, plum and other candy. Smooth and silky body. Good stuff, and a nice reminder why you need to support your local brewery!
