Commercial Description:
BrewMaster’s Series #1 - The BrewMaster’s Series is a limited edition series where each beer is crafted by one of our brewers. Every batch in the series is unique and reflects the brewer’s imagination, creativity, and passion for beer. Enjoy. Youngblood’s Imperial Porter is brewed with a wide variety of malted barley and has a rounded chocolate character from the roasted grains. I wanted to explore using many different malts. It’s not for the faint of heart.

Black body, light brown creamy head; Very, very chocolate like nose, big and a little 1-dimensional; Thin big bubbled uninteresting slightly bitter body; Medium long thin small finish, lots of chocolate aroma and a bit burnt. Very strangely composed or over the top. Thanks Jeppe.

Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting V: Dark pour with atan head. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate, roasted malt and a nice bit of hazlenut come through. Roasty and bittersweet throughout...smooth with a dry finish. Pretty nice.

Bottle. Black body with a small creamy mocha head. Rich aroma consisting of caramel, maple, molasses, coffee, wood, and raisins. Thick chocolatey body with coating flavours. Lots of espresso and milky toffee notes. Really flavourful.

Shared at CT V. Aroma of chocolate and some sweetness with a little roastiness that comes through. Flavor was sweet, alcohol, and it seemed kind of thin. Seemed a little milder than i thought it would be. Maybe this has peaked already. Its been like 2.5 years.

Thanks to Black95tt for letting me share this beer with him. I really thought this beer showed a lot of potential and seemed like it would have reminded me of the Duck Rabbit Baltic porter...which I really enjoyed. But this beer seemed beyond its peak. I think it would/could have been really phenomenal but its past its prime. Oh well...all in all in was good and enjoyable beer that I was happy I got try.
