Commercial Description:
BrewMaster’s Series #1 - The BrewMaster’s Series is a limited edition series where each beer is crafted by one of our brewers. Every batch in the series is unique and reflects the brewer’s imagination, creativity, and passion for beer. Enjoy. Youngblood’s Imperial Porter is brewed with a wide variety of malted barley and has a rounded chocolate character from the roasted grains. I wanted to explore using many different malts. It’s not for the faint of heart.

The pleasant kind of oxidized. Vinous raisin chocolate pudding and roast malt. All are strong and wonderful.
Opaque brown with a brown head.
Flavor, oh the flavors. Fudgey, oxidized, raisin. Mild bitterness.
Rich, silky, semi sweet finish.
I have no idea what this beer tasted like fresh, but aged is really f’n nice.

Black with low carbonation level. Just keeps getting better with age. Wonderful chocolate flavors with hints of raisans and prunes. The alcohol is quite subdued. The hops keep mellowing with age and it keeps getting more and more balanced. When it was younger the hops were a little too forward for this beer, but the bitterness and flavor are pretty close to right on now that it has aged.

Very black in colour, thin tan coloured head, very light lacing. The aroma is very rich, lots of chocolate, cold coffee, molasses, dark burnt malts, sugary. The flavour is of burnt malts, again lots of chocolate, very creamy, some vanilla, molasses, lightly chalky, some dark fruits. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes lingering, highly bitter, some leftover coffee and cream. Very good stuff, quite smooth, very malty, nice balance. No alcohol apparent.
