Snegurochka (69), Tromsø, Norway Oct 6, 2009 500ml can brought from Archangel to the Superpower beer session part I by Konstantin. Clear yellow. Smells of grass and grain. Light and very sweet. Taste of cereal and fruit. The aroma is better than the flavour. Rune (2748), Tromsø, Norway Jan 24, 2009 Thanks to Konstantin for providing a 500ml can from Arkhangelsk for The Superpower beer session in Tårnrommer, part 1, Tromsø. 4.5% ABV. Clear, straw coloured body with a few patches on the surface. Grain and grass to the nose. Rather bland in taste, but hints of a grass-malty flavour comes through. A few bitter endnotes are overrun by sweetness. Light and tame [13.01.2009] kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Doktor Dizel

goldtwins (4078), Nesconset, New York, USA Apr 7, 2007 Poured a lightly hazed very light yellow with a large foamy white head. Not much aroma. Light malt and mild sweetness. Mallty and sweet. Grainy with a bitter finish. Some frutiness. Semi-dry with a light to medium body. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2006 The name seems more appropos for a malt liquor... although some might argue that the styles are much the same. Actually, it’s fairly tame (in the diesel area) for a strong lager. A hazy, fizzy yellow drink with a bubbly head, The aroma is of a generic sweet malt with grasses and alcohol. In flavor, there’s that same malt, a touch of metallica, and a grassy bitterness in the finish.

puzzl (2579), New York, New York, USA Apr 14, 2006 Tastes mostly like a malt liquor to me. Very strong, vile, corny taste. At this point, beer like this makes me feel sick. Its really such an off-putting taste, I don’t see how this style of beer has become the norm all over the world (at lower ABV). JensenTaster (1585), Denmark Mar 1, 2006 (on bottle thanx Ungstrup) Sweetish, alcoholic sent. Pale yellow. Nice carbonation and a watery mouth. The taste is straight forward; pale malt and alcohol, nothing else. Really strong alcoholic finish, made me tipsy ater just a sip. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 28, 2006 A yellow beer with a slightly green shine underneath a white head. The aroama is light, but sweet malty, while the flavor is somewhat artificially sweet with some notes of malt.
