Pours a cloudy, murky dark yellow with a fluffy snow white head. Aroma has hints of lemon and honey and a wee bit of alcohol. Flavor has some of the same accents with a definite clove bent to it. Much more flavorful than most of this ilk, actually has some character overlaying on top of the alcohol. Mouthfeel is quite spritzy and refreshing. Color me somewhat impressed. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

Otherwise you get the skunk factor. Good for a hot day after doing housework. DrnkMcDermott (1865), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 15, 2004 .5 L can, Moscow. Falls somewhere between a pale lager and a malt liquor, since its label lists sugar. Thin canned beer head, pale yellow color, little bit of lacing in the glass. I guess the best I can say is that it’s a decent slamming beer. Drink it fast and you won’t have to think about it once it’s done. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 30, 2003 pale yellow. thin white head. Phenolic, lightstruck, alcoholic. Thick, creamy, corny, slightly skunky. Dry and firey at the finish. Might be good with spicy food, but terrible with potato chips! austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Nov 28, 2003 In the 80's the Thompson Twins had a song that aptly described Doctor Diesel with lyrics something like: "Doctor, doctor...can't you see my throat is burnin', burnin'". OK, I'm paraphrasing there. But the point is that I'd sooner drink a Yarpivo or Baltika than this bland, relatively flavorless lager with knockout potential (7% abv). It's flavor profile, you ask? Well, think diesel fuel. Thin and totally lacking even minimal malt presence. All you can taste, I swear, is the alcohol. JPDIPSO (4939), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Oct 17, 2003 Lightly hazed straw color with a strong stable yellow/white head. First aromas sent me reeling - akin to driving by a pig farm. From the description, I must discern that I am no expert. After sitting a few minutes I detect heavy malt and alcohol, but still underlying swine smells. Malt liquor at its finest, my stomach turns after the first quaff. Smaller samples must be ingested to understand the nuances within this PhD. Starts with a resinistic sweeetness that leads to a stewed prune flavor. Mouthcoating feel that clings and makes you plead for its release. Did they really use malt? Wait the finish has a hint of it. About eight more ounces to go. So little balance, so unrefined in flavor, so much down the drain. larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden

Not so much alcohol-flavour.
I had this one in a cloud of diesel-smoke beside the Moscow-river. rickgordon (3337), Göteborg, Sweden
