i was very iffy with that funky label it had.
but it turned out to have a very plesant taste to it.
very smooth on the palate.
the appearance was a golden with a nice white head that fizzed out very fast.
very good taste not harsh like some of the others from this country.

May 18, 2003 Fruity and refreshing. However quite artifcial and boring. A bit like a normal discount strong lager from Denmark.

Feb 5, 2003 Bottled. Gold, low head and moderate condition. Nasty peardrop and chemical aromas, harsh adjunct flavours and a sickly sweet finish. This doctor should be struck off.

Nov 5, 2002 Pale appearance, very smooth palate, and a rather tasteless yet malt filled taste. Not at all like the diesel fuel I was expecting to drink.

Oct 4, 2002 The Ivan Taranov brewery is based in Novotroisk. They also brew Three Bears (Tri Medvedya) and Golden Bull. This is a strong blond beer where the alcohol is the only dominant feature. The malt body is firm and tasty but not exceptional, and the hops merely provide bitterness without character. A fairly average and unexceptional strong lager.
