Raspberries and things like that. Cantalope as well. Surprising it’s an ale, would have thought it was a blond. KimJohansen (7045), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 30, 2008 75 cl Bottle. Lots of floaties visible in the bottle. Hazy yellow orange colour, thick white head. Flowery aroma of yeast and malts, some hops. Flavour is yeasty and malty, dry. Nice bitterness balancing the malty flavours. Golden red colour with a fomay head.
Yeasty, sweet alcohol smell with some fruitiness.
Bitter-sour. Somewhat watery.
A fresh citric palate. Slightly mouty and a bit too watery for my taste.
After so many years hearing good things about this beer it was a bit of a disappointment. MiP (9087), Sønderborg, Denmark
