On tap at Dominion. After the pour, the waves of creamy head rolled up the glass like a guiness. Hoppy floral aroma. Taste is a bit subdued. Syrupy and malty with a slight bit of citrus sourness. Nice body but I think it could be a bit more crisp.

Light hazy amber body with off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit/pineapple, some caramel, light chocolate. Taste is sweet, pineapple, grapefruit, some alcohol. Chewy medium-full body. Too sweet.

Cask at the brewpub. Lovely, lovely stuff. Huge thick creamy white head taht lasts forever. Aroma and flavor are a full on hop attack. Excellent balance of huge IIPA hopiness with just enough malt to cover the high ABV and the body is awesome. I had put away a full pint of this stuff before I even had time to think about it. This is one that I could drink gallons of!

Cask... This beer rocks!... Clear, textbook amber ale with a huge, cascading, white, creamy head. Excellent retention. Earthy, malty aroma with notes of caramel, dirt and pine. The flavor is extremely malty, rich and warming. A boatload of summit hops erases all sweetness and pounds the palate with bitterness. The high ABV bitters things up as well. Mega full-bodied and ultra-creamy with soft carbonation. Finishes bitter and amazingly dry. The high ABV is pretty well-disguised, but eventually sucker punched me after my second pint. Very well-made... you guys pulled it off... 100% summit hops! World class beer!

On cask at Old Dominion Brewpub. 9.5 % abv, made with new Summit hop variety. Perfect classic orange-amber with a thick, creamy off-white head. Has a very piney hop aroma. The flavor has a huge dose of PINE, grapefruit/citrus then gives way to notes of apricot, mango/tropical fruits, vanilla and a little wood. Pleasantly sweet pale malt with some caramel in there - has a true I2PA bitter (but not abrasive) hop finish. Pure, delicious hop juice. Alcohol presence is noticeable on the back end. Silky smooth texture with very, very slight carbonation since it’s on cask. Great lacing and head retention. Good stuff!
