| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2004 Fruity, floral hops in the aroma, faint malt background. Pours amber color, thin beige head. Good balance in the flavor, moderate hop flavor with an even malt backbone. Nothing overpowers, nicely balanced. Medium body, easy drinking. Nice, simple session ale - the kind of thing you can pair with almost any food. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2004 Pours amber with a smallish head. Nicely balanced aroma with more hops than I had expected. Flavor isn’t remarkable, but isn’t bad either. Definitely worth the $6 a six-pack. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2004 This amber ale pours a nice cinammon color with a very small head. Lot’s of bubbles. Layered aroma, reminiscent of hazlenut with a heavy backdrop, malts. Very smooth, almost buttery texture. Flavor definately has a distinct aftertaste, very hoppy. Overall, an interesting interpretation of this style. Very refreshing. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2004 Hazy, luminous orange color, big, bubbling white head.
Sweet and fruity aroma, and a tiny bit tart, I like it, though, I like it!
Taste: nice, smooth, and nothing...I’m immediately thinking "British ESB", but there’s nothing of interest at all going on here.
You can drink them, sure, and there’s a nice little taste, but I must emphasize "little" here. Yeah, it goes down easy, and there’s nothing to distract you from the darts, mate. My turn? Oi!

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 10, 2004 Bottle. I just ordered a case of this at work, as I try to expand our beer selection by 2-4 per week. Of course, my first duty when they arrive (aside from chilling them) is to sample one and make sure they’re ready for consumption. Pours with very little head- amber in color. Smells of fruits (apricots?) and hops. Taste is bittersweet, with a hoppy, peppery finish. Reminds me a bit of Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, though not quite the same calibur. This is a beer I will be suggesting to people. bmanLS (114), Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2004 Nothing extraordinary in the pour, this ale sits in my glass with a small white head that diminishes fast and is thin in body with a tan color. Aroma is hoppy, and the flavor is strong like a scotch ale with a bitter after bite. Nice ale. omhper (12260), Stockholm, Sweden
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2004 Bottled. Amber colour, small head. Light flowery aroma. Medium dry and light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Resiny finish with good bitterness. Very unassuming.. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 21, 2004 Slightly earthy, grape-like nose. Light amber, almost golden in color with nice head that quickly dissipates. Nice sour malt flavor with a decent hop bone up the middle. A little watery. If the mouthfeel could improve, this would be a top-shelf product.
