Commercial Description:
Dominion Ale is brewed in an English style with American Two-Row Pale, Caramel, and Black malts. We use Perle, Willamette, and Mount Hood hops from the Pacific Northwest and English Kent Golding Hops. We ferment our ale with a traditional American yeast in the German Kolsch style - warm, fast fermentation followed by a slow maturation. Dominion Ale is malty with an assertive hop character dominated by the Kent Golding. It is crystal clear amber colored with medium body. Widely available in bottles and on draft, often as a house brand name.

Bottle in Virginia. This beer would be a nice "intro to craft beer" serving. Some nice malt permeates both aroma and flavor. Some sour hop notes added an interesting bitterness. Throw in just a bit of citrus. Very light drinking.

Bottle. Caramel-sweet maltiness counterbalanced by a sharp hoppy twang. Comparable to Sam Adams. Not bad.

Draft at Dullas airport. Copper colored and clear. Huge malty aromas, caramelly. Nice nuttiness in the flavors and in spite of the sweet maltiness manages to be clean and not too sweet. Pretty good and quaffable.

Citrusy, a bit of a bite up front, but finishes smooth. Nothing remarkable.

I tell ya, I grew up in a tough neighborhood. The other night a guy pulled a knife on me. I could see it wasn’t a real professional job. There was butter on it.

A strong aroma of oranges and also a strong taste of citrus. Very easy to drink, and I thought it was a solid beer. Hopefully Anheuser-Busch doesn’t ruin this beer (they bought the brewery).

Bottle. Amber beer with a light cream colored head. Light malt aroma. Malt and an almost vanilla like flavor (a bit sweet, but not too bad). Medium body. Malt and light caramel linger with that almost-vanilla-like quality.

Pours a slightly cloudy burnt-orange with a fleeting white head. Has mild hoppy aroma with modest flavor of hops and malt. It is light bodied and has a slightly sour finish.
