| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2004 Equipment: 12 oz bottle served chilled in a pint glass.
Appearance: Clear honey colored liquid topped by a medium-sized slightly offwhite head. Head retains just a film and a ring after a few minutes. Scant amounts of lacing was left, just one ring and some specks.
Aroma: Bready malts subtly integrated with some British and American hops, yet there’s a weird Germanic touch to it. It’s a melting pot!
Flavor: Mild bready malt flavor at first, lightly sweet. Bitter American hops in the middle, fading to some Germanesque grassy hop aftertastes.
Palate: Crisp and clean, nice and light in body.
Overall: A great session pale ale in largely an English vein. Not aggressive like most Americanized versions. OlJuntan64 (1267), Perth, Australia

Smells sweet with a distinctly floral hop aroma.
Medium body, with enough carbonation to be noticeable and enought sweet malts to satisfy. Hops balance and flavor but by no means overwhelm.
Very drinkable and highly recommended for its taste:price ratio. very cheap, great price, equals an everyday drinking beer. Good stuff.
