Commercial Description:
Dominion Ale is brewed in an English style with American Two-Row Pale, Caramel, and Black malts. We use Perle, Willamette, and Mount Hood hops from the Pacific Northwest and English Kent Golding Hops. We ferment our ale with a traditional American yeast in the German Kolsch style - warm, fast fermentation followed by a slow maturation. Dominion Ale is malty with an assertive hop character dominated by the Kent Golding. It is crystal clear amber colored with medium body. Widely available in bottles and on draft, often as a house brand name.

Not much head out of bottle. Hoppy, faint lemon flavor behind hops. Not bad.

Equipment: 12 oz bottle served chilled in a pint glass. Appearance: Clear honey colored liquid topped by a medium-sized slightly offwhite head. Head retains just a film and a ring after a few minutes. Scant amounts of lacing was left, just one ring and some specks. Aroma: Bready malts subtly integrated with some British and American hops, yet there’s a weird Germanic touch to it. It’s a melting pot! Flavor: Mild bready malt flavor at first, lightly sweet. Bitter American hops in the middle, fading to some Germanesque grassy hop aftertastes. Palate: Crisp and clean, nice and light in body. Overall: A great session pale ale in largely an English vein. Not aggressive like most Americanized versions.

Pours deep straw colored, with minimal head. Smells of malt, slight yeast, citrus, and hops. Tastes malty, not very hoppy, with a crisp, slightly sweet finish.

Copper coloured with white head. Smells sweet with a distinctly floral hop aroma. Medium body, with enough carbonation to be noticeable and enought sweet malts to satisfy. Hops balance and flavor but by no means overwhelm. Very drinkable and highly recommended for its taste:price ratio. very cheap, great price, equals an everyday drinking beer. Good stuff.

Although it’s not Dominion’s best, it is still a solid brew. Nice amber ale with a good malt/hop balance. Has a nice buttery aftertaste. Very drinkable/enjoyable.

Poured a copper color with a bubbly white head. Nutty malt aroma. Malt, then hop taste. Not bad.
