| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Poured from the tap to a bright amber red color with medium thick off-white head that lingered well and left good lacing. Nose was a muted citrus fuit withy a very tingly mouthfeel and a pleasant well blended fruity malt/hop blend inthe taste. No real notice of alcohol present in either the nose or taste, which, at 4.7%, is not surprising. Rounds to a slightly bitter, dry finish. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 19, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a solid amber color with a small white head. The head fades pretty quick leaving minimal lacing. The nose is very light having some hops and a little malt. Medium high carbonation with a very light mouthfeel. I get a distinct metallic taste followed by a little bit of malt and assertive bittering hops. The label says it is like a fresh Bass, but I have to disagree. I would rather have the Bass. I used to drink this beer frequently back when Dominion wasn’t owned by someone else. This beer is a pale shadow of what it once was. gorditoabd (174), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Pours amber with a nice foamy head that shortly dissolves leaving a fine filmy coating on the inside of the glass. Aroma is faint and sweet, slightly sharp but you have to really get in there to smell it. Flavor is classically amber. Caramel, woody sweetness with a lightly bitter finish. On tap, it has a very carbonated quality, which does something to cover the marked lack of complexity and limited palate. An okay amber to go with food, or quench a quick thirst, but nothing too special. Radek Kliber (3962), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Pretty average ale. Some astringent hops in the finish. I tried it cold, and it might have some more flavor at room temperature. I dont agree with Bierkrug below, who gave it a snobbish anti American review. It was not too sweet. Just nothing special. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Copper pour with a small white head. Malty nose with a touch of sour hops. Flavor is much the same. Not a lot going on. Not bad but not really remarkable. BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
