Commercial Description:
Dominion Ale is brewed in an English style with American Two-Row Pale, Caramel, and Black malts. We use Perle, Willamette, and Mount Hood hops from the Pacific Northwest and English Kent Golding Hops. We ferment our ale with a traditional American yeast in the German Kolsch style - warm, fast fermentation followed by a slow maturation. Dominion Ale is malty with an assertive hop character dominated by the Kent Golding. It is crystal clear amber colored with medium body. Widely available in bottles and on draft, often as a house brand name.

Poured a light amber color with red to orange hues thatt in the light. The beer is semi cloudy with a limited head and some lacing. The smell was not really there. I did pick up some American malt smells and hops. Limited smell though. The taste was good with malt backing and more floral aftertastes. Hints or orange and lemon citrus notes are noticeable but limited. Other flavors are present as it warms as well. Some caramel and a slight breadiness. Almost brings out a dryness quality to it. The body is pretty smootht. For me, the hops are little on the light side, but overall the balance is not too bad. The malt itself is basic I would have like to seen more of a variety

Crystal clear gold amber almost non existent white head. Aroma light malt, light citrus hops. Taste of great balance of hops with light maltiness, finishing with a great peat flavor and drying out. Aftertaste is very light and very mildly bitter. Better than I expected. Decent medium mouthfeel on the palate with a bit of a bubbly undercurrent. Overall I like this beer.

Light caramel and pineapple bouquet. Muddy ochre pour with no head. Pleasantly woody, with an ashy walnut finish. Decidedly not hoppy.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy copper with ivory head. The aroma is some sweet grains and mild spicy hops. The flavor is sweet and cereal with some cotton candy, toast. The finish dries out just a touch with spicy hops. Ok, but uninteresting.

Not the greatest beer, but a very nice hop bite too it that some amber ales lack a bit.
