Commercial Description:
Dominion Ale is brewed in an English style with American Two-Row Pale, Caramel, and Black malts. We use Perle, Willamette, and Mount Hood hops from the Pacific Northwest and English Kent Golding Hops. We ferment our ale with a traditional American yeast in the German Kolsch style - warm, fast fermentation followed by a slow maturation. Dominion Ale is malty with an assertive hop character dominated by the Kent Golding. It is crystal clear amber colored with medium body. Widely available in bottles and on draft, often as a house brand name.

Rusty aroma with a rusty flavor. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Mildly flavorful with maybe slight off flavors and otherwise average.

This is a solid beer that you can find on sale for not much more than a macro like bud, miller, etc. However, it is tons better than one of those. It is not complicated at all, and a bit watery but it has decent malt flavor and a bit of hops comes through. Solid to be a top "stock some in the fridge for friends" beer.

Bottle. Copper pour with an off white head. Aroma of bready malt,a bit of smoke, and some brown sugar. Light malt and faint earthy hops come through in the flavor. Light /medium body...fairly sweet rhoughout with a crisp finish.

This was a nice deep colored ale with a decent full head. It had a nice aroma of caramel amd molasses. It seemd full at first but dropped off at the end palate. Not bad though!

Nice looking brew with a slight English bittering hop & malt aroma to it. Taste was a bit off and the thinness of it kind of let me down. I’ve had a few OD beers over the years and have always been a bit disappointed, given their regional reputation.

Dominion Ale pours a hazy orange hue with a small, white head that fully diminishes. Active body. Aroma is of light malts with a weak presence. Initially, it is light bitter, and the taste sort of just disappears after that. Mouthfeel is watery and is very carbonated. This is not a good attempt at an English Pale Ale. Reviewed in November, 2006.
