Dominion Beach House Golden Pilsner

Bottle: Poured a golden yellow with a nice head. The aroma was sweet, straw, and spice. The flavor was spicy, honey, sweet malts, and a touch floral thrown in. Overall, an easy drinker for a summer pils.

12oz bottle, bottled 5/4/09. Small but persistent white head atop lightly hazed apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, cereal, some honey, light straw. Taste is moderately sweet, floral/spicy, some orange, light grapefruit, honey, cereal/bread. Light body, some crispness, light acidity. Given that this is a post-takeover brew, I was quite surprised to find that I like it.

Slightly cloudy golden pour with a big white head. Fruity and straw aroma and the taste was the same as the aroma, but pretty dry with a little hops. Overall very good beer.

12oz twist-off bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of pineapple juice. Sweet smell. Sharp pine bitterness. Nice complexity of tropical fruit essence. Sweet crisp pils malt. Really good. Lingering bitterness. Surprised by this one. Be sure to drink this one fresh.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is fruity, vanilla, some honey, and a touch of spicy hops. Flavor is very hop forward, spicy bitter hops, some fruity notes, and honey.

hazy gold under a fluffy white head. nice tropical aroma with pineapple, marshmallow, orange and spice. flavor is moderately hoppy with the same tropical citrus notes from aroma. a crisp summery brew with a great flavor.
