| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Not a bad beer at all, although I’d say it’s pretty much average across the board. Bright golden, almost yellow colored. Thin white head, fruity, malt aroma. Taste is sweeter than a lot of lagers I’ve had, pretty smooth and refreshing. jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 3, 2005 On tap at Dominion. Deep clear golden with a medium white head, a little darker than their highly superior Dominion Lager. Aroma is of light grass and hay. Flavor has notes of grain, some caramel and a little grassy hoppiness. Moderately sweet, medium hop bitterness at the end. Full, round and creamy with lively carbonation. As stated, not nearly as good as the Dominion Lager but not awful either. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 20, 2006 deep golden color white head, aroma is mostly malty, grass or corn-like. flavor has a tiny bit of hops to it, sweet, carbonated, ok body, not bad, just nothing spectacular. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 31, 2003 Crystal clear-light amber colour with an almost non-existant head. Aroma of caramel, malt, light sweetness and a subtle metal aroma. Light-bodied; Sweet fruity character up front with a prolonged super light maltiness. Aftertaste clean with nothing showing. Overall, a decent light lager-not too flavourful, but good! I sampled this on Draught at Old Dominion Brewery in Ashburn, Virginia on 30-December-2003. SledgeJr (2972), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2004 In the bottle. Rich deep gold color with a rapidly disappearing head. Aroma not quite what I need in comparison to its German cousins- I just don’t get that bready malty smell. The bite of the tongue is not just hops, this is sort of astringent, but not in a bad way. An OK beer.
