Crisp aromas of oily hops, highly floral with plenty of herbal, seedy malty nuances and a touch of diacetyl. Incredibly soft toasted malt is highly elegant in here, very biscuity with just battered butter undertones. Grassy soft hops bring petals and algae original hints. Crisp palate, slightly oily texture, moderately carbonated. Greatly executed and quenching. It is 5 months old now and I suspect it would have been excellent within the first few weeks. joss (3667), Garching b. München, Germany

No, make that MUCH better. Now this is the Dominion Lager I remember drinking back when I lived in NoVA. Very flavorful and rich for the style, malty, bready and earthy, mildly sweet, with a soft bitterness from the hops and a gentle sourness that’s like eating sourdough. The aroma is doughy and very lightly hoppy, but there’s still a degree of sourness here, though I think in a strange way, it adds, rather than detracts. Light to medium bodied, but this has a soft, round mouthfeel. Medium yellow color and fairly hazy. The off-white head is very small on the pour and fades quickly to the thinnest of rims. Certainly one of the best American beers in this style. Not much more to say, but when you have the urge for a bud think a little headier and pick up a twelve pack of some Dominion Lager. Great Stuff Nel (180), Virginia, USA

Slightly malty with what I think is the beginning of a light coffee note. Not very special. If you are in the virginia area and looking for good local beer, try out star hill products instead.
