Commercial Description:
Dominion Lager is brewed using four types of malted barley: Two-Row Pale Brewer’s malt, Munich, Carapils, and Caramel. The bittering hops are Perle and Hallertau from the Yakima Valley in Washington State. The aromatic hops are domestic Tettnang, German Hallertau Hersbrucker, and Czech Saaz. This combination of malt and hops, along with a classic lager yeast from Germany, and the long, low-temperature lagering process results in a mild, smooth, flavorful, complex beer that is a delight to drink.

Dominion Lager is the real deal, its a great lager at a great taste. Not much more to say, but when you have the urge for a bud think a little headier and pick up a twelve pack of some Dominion Lager. Great Stuff

Pours out reasonably dark. Slightly malty with what I think is the beginning of a light coffee note. Not very special. If you are in the virginia area and looking for good local beer, try out star hill products instead.

It was certainly a pleasant surprise to find a brewery bar at an airport but, sadly, the range of brews available was rather restricted, and I’d already tried the other stuff they had on tap, so I thought I’d better give this a go. Golden colour. Quite dry, with some biscuity malt. Fresh and clean, but not too exciting; at the end of the day it’s just another run of the mill lager. A bit fizzy. On tap at the Old Dominion Bar, Dulles International Airport..

Pours straw gold with sediment and lots of bubbles. Meager head remains undiminished and leaves raccoon-tail rings of lace with each sip. Grainy mashtun aromas accented by sulphur, yeast, and wet field. Initial tangy berry tartness fades to smooth, rich bready malt. Some floral and spicy hop notes. Ends on a bass note of earthy, almost chocolatey, bitterness. Solid, well-rounded beer.

Pours nicely, small dense white head. hoppy aroma, definately sweet smelling, robust flavor, a little like drinking freshly cut hay. Hay, this beer isn’t too bad!

little aroma, little flavor (some malty sweetness), but an unremarkable lager. very drinkable, but nothing to get me excited.

Appearance: crystal clear, bright yellow color, big, bubbly white head, slowly settling. Aroma: clean, and dry, at first, but yeasty, with notes of straw, citrus, a drizzle of honey, getting sweeter, and lemonier as we go. Good snappy, tangy texture, big, citrusy taste. Body is light, of course, but flavor is strong and palpable, so big and bountiful it counters any qualms I have against lagers (the unbearable lightness, among other things). Malt is sufficient, but hops are the driving force, delivering bitterness and citric taste every time. Tasty, sunny, shiny...I’m picky when it comes to lighter beers, but this one was quite nice.

Pours a light golden color with a small but persistent head. Smells malty and grassy but not as much in a pils way, but that’s good because this isn’t a pils. Taste rich, malty, a little sweet. Finishes with a nice long mild Hallertau bitterness that really sets this beer apart. Excellent Helles
