Gold straw color with some white head. No aroma, very little flavor (this was a trend of all of the Dominion beers we tasted). Dortmunder should be more flavorful than a Pils or Helles, and this was not. Other than a mild, indistinguised hop flavor, this was flavored water. gabrielsyme (66), Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 30, 2008 I love everything I’ve had from this brewery, and this is no exception. I had this on tap, pours golden with white head. The taste is mostly of sweet malts, the hops add aroma and tastes of spruce and citrus with only a very slight bitterness. Palate was very crisp and refreshing. This may become my go-to lager. Ando (105), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Poured out of a 12 oz bottle. A slight cloudy off golden color with a decent egg-shell white head that disappears as you drink and limited to no lacing. The smell is limited but hints of German malt and European yeast are noted. The bottles list a variety of different ingredients. The taste is light. Reminds me of a American Lager with better taste. Rather grainy for the flavor with stronger base malts. Nothing to exciting but the hops bring a citrus flavor mixed with a earthy aftertaste. As it warms other flavors are noticeable, such as caramel and some grassiness. The beer is smooth with a slight kick at the end but limited on overall taste. epf33 (222), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2008 hazy gold under a small white head. buttery, caramel aroma. flavor of butter, caramel, and bready malt. a bit of sourness though. very nice and flavorful. touch of hops to round out the finish. nice, even though i may have an old bottle. theshocker (329), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Golden color, crystal clear with a medium head. Classic beery aroma, like a budweiser. Only in a good way. Like bready or grainy. Well balanced, just a touch of bitterness to compete with the grainy flavor. The 34/70 yeast is on the dirty end of the lager spectum and leaves its own distinctive esters which are definately present in this beer. Its got a full mouthfeel with a minerally finish. I think its pretty good, but at the same time I wouldn’t buy it regularly if it was available in my area. raiderfost (158), virginia beach, Virginia, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jan 4, 2008 After reading the last few reviews of this beer i wonder what they were drinking. This beer is horrible! Pours a rich piss yellow with a snow white head. Aroma of corn yeast and piss. Idont even want to discribe the flavor. What a bad beer from a otherwise fine brewery.
