Some white grape juice and overripe fruits in the aroma, with a touch of citrus. Medium mouthfeel: slightly watery, but with a pleasant show of grapes and wet malts and minimal citrus bitterness; very drinkable and balanced. Quick finish, showing grapes and grain. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 7, 2007 pours like apple juice but more clear w/ a small white head good visable carbonation. Odd lightly fruity aroma hints of lemon zest some light bannanna some light grains and a bit of sweet sugars. Not what I expected w/ the word lager on the bottle. Palate is pretty light. Flavor is much to watery some light lemon zest.. not really much to it. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear lighter amber with a suprising light, fluffy head capping the pint. Nose is very malty. Flavor profile continues with the lightly roasted malt notes. Some faint fruit and sweetness. It was smooth, but not all that much happening here. This was OK, not offensive, but not enough to make you want a 2nd. LooseCannon (936), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 7, 2007 I’ve spent so much of my time in contempt for all lagers... can’t I, for maybe just a little while, learn to *love* them?
Appearance: Pours out a deep, though somewhat hazy golden-amber color with a bone white head.
Smell: Slightly musty aroma, with some sweet and floral notes mixed in.
Taste: Take heart, it’s good. The flavor is initially sweet toasted grains with a squirt of wildflower honey. The maltiness gives way to some light, floral hops with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. A touch metallic. Finish is a well-balanced blend of sweetness and citrus snap.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. The carbonation is crisp and lively.
Drinkability: Stellar drinkability. This is a "BEST OF..." Dortmunder Lager, I’m telling you. joshwilfong (797), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
