The aroma is sweet with lots of overripe fruits, as well as light notes of alcohol, caramel, and lemon. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of alcohol and overripe fruits, leading to an end with notes of citrus combined with a bitternes, and a alcohol burn lingering on the tongue. Pours a hazy amber golden with a small, white head. Distinct aroma of oak and bourbon. Medium body - surprisingly considering its strength - extremely dry with a distinctly alcoholic whisky note. Really, really dry as a bone - I would’ve liked a little more sweetness here. 230807 yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Distinct vanilla flavour and medium bitterness in good balance. The vanilla somehow reminds me of vitamin pills, but it is quite good. Very late alcohol flavour, but not that noticeable. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma has an elegant vanilla presence and Bourbon whisky touch. Full mouthfeel, sweet, malty, with a vanilla touch and rum flavor. Well balanced by a strong bitterness.
Comparison to the non oak aged version. This one has less malt aroma, less complex flavor, less alcohol feeling, less bitterness, a thinner body. It’s softer. A different beer, to drink once in a while.
