| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2006 A fairly decent barley wine, that would cellar very nicely if I ever gave it the chance. Somewhat sweet, perhaps its all the honey they use, nice balance between hops and malts. Very smooth flavor and palate, goes down nicely, stays down nicely truly a warmer for sitting at an outdoor bar on chilily spring evenings. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
