Commercial Description:
Dominion Millennium is a very strong ale brewed in the English Barley Wine style. Often called the "sherry of the beer world", barley wine is best sipped at warmer temperatures, and should be enjoyed in moderation, as it contains twice the alcohol of regular beers.

Shared by Milkmandan. Clear light brown pour with no head. Dark fruit and candied sugar on the nose. Nuttiness in flavor along with sweet maltiness and alcohol.

Sample enjoyed at Skyview tasting. Pour was syrupy amber red and aroma was of cloyingly sweet maple syrup. Flavor was woody, strong in alcohol, and wasn’t well balanced.

06 Bottle shared by emacgee. Thanks Ethan. Pours a hazy amber with a small tan head that fades leaving little lace. Nose is sweet, alcoholic, and lightly hoppy. Flavor is sweet and malty, but as Ethan mentions, its a pretty thin mouthfeel which kind of detracts from the overall enjoyment of this brew. Okay, I enjoyed the oak aged version much more.

Thanks JCB. 2006 bottle. Pours a still murky amber with a whispy tan head. The nose is malty, sweet, shows alcohol, subdued citrusy and grapefruit hops, some caramel. The flavor is malty, shows alcohol, decent hop feel, thin, feels like the middle of it just falls out and the beer simply comes apart. Palate shows a mild bitterness with some warming alcohol. Overall has a thin body.

Bottle from Immy, thanks. Celebrated the re-launch of rate beer with this one, alcohol was well hidden, easy to drink for a Barley wine. Some fruit and spice, sugar, was expecting abit more flavor to this one, but it was still good, drinkable, ok.

2004 12 oz. bottle via trade with kp - Pours a cloudy deep amber color with a thin off white head that faded pretty quick. No lacing. Light carbonation. Aroma is vinous and full of esters. Flavor is big esters and some malt sweetness. The alcohol is noticeable in this one. A pretty nice BW. Thanks Keith.

Sampled at RBSG ’08 Grand Tasting at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Another backlogged rating. Poured from bottle. Light amber color with a mild plum flavor with a bit of spice and cherry. Sweet vanilla and dark fruit flavors. Earthy maple and toffee notes shine underneath. Nice body. Really tasty stuff.
