Commercial Description:
Dominion Millennium is a very strong ale brewed in the English Barley Wine style. Often called the "sherry of the beer world", barley wine is best sipped at warmer temperatures, and should be enjoyed in moderation, as it contains twice the alcohol of regular beers.

Pours marron with little to no head. Aromas of malt, caramel, and alcohol. Flavors of dark fruits, alcohol, caramel, and a nice malt finish. Intense BW with alot of flavors throughout.

Bottled 4/6/07. Poured near-clear deeper orange with a short-lived cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sherry and fruity sweetness first with a layer of caramel close behind.. the final impression was a building, greener alcohol. The flavor had deeper honeyed and dark fruity sweetness at the core with fresh alcohol-laced grassy bitterness surrounding.. sticky, warm finish with a solid amount of dry bitterness. Thicker-bodied and syrupy at times on the palate with OK balance.. prickly alcohol and bitterness stood out at times, so it didn’t flow perfectly.. lower carbonation worked well here. This was a good beer.. but just wasn’t cohesive enough to be great.

Pours a bright copper-orange color. Thin to no head. The aroma is mild; faint floral hops, honey, vanilla. Taste is sweet mailt, caramel. There’s a bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Noticeable alcohol warmth and a dry finish. An enjoyable, if mild, barelywine,

Poured an almost clear amber copper color. The color of a whiskey. It had a thin light tan head that disappeared rather quicly to a thin film. There was a nice sweet spicy aroma. The initial taste was quite creamy with an alcohol taste that was hidden pretty well by the sweetness from the malt and honey. The hops gave the beer a backgound bitterness that that complimented the sweetness. This was a very good beer full of flavor and a variety of tastes.

12oz bottle.....pours a semi-transparent amber brown with a very thin off-white head..... typical sweet caramel malt, almost cough syrupy. not something that i enjoy.... flavors are much of the same and it still remains cloyingly sweet..... probably a little too much age on this one.

nice toffe and carmel aroma. Big malts with a honey from taste. Masks the alcohol very well.

Pours clear light amber with little head. Aroma of malt, slightly hopped. Pretty straight forward. Not the best barley wine I’ve had but not a bad beer either.

12oz bottle from Immy and someone else (sorry I forgot). Heavy fruit and caramel on the nose. Very malt forward. Prunes, apricot and a kiss of citrus zest. Lots of rich, warm caramel. Pours a cloudy dark orange/brown with virtually no head and little evidence of carbonation. Toasted caramel and toffee, almond and cashews, alcohol, bready malt and a hint of hops on the tongue. Medium bodied, low carbonation with a kick of alcohol on the finish,
