Commercial Description:
Octoberfest's decidedly malty flavor comes from a generous portion of Vienna Malts. The maltiness is balanced by German and Czech Republic noble hops for dryness. The balance between the malt and the hops and the long, cold (30 degrees F) maturation process make this an exceptionally drinkable beer.

Light amber color. Some malt aroma, some malt, caramel and cereals flavor, medium body, light residual sweetness, correct bitterness... very simple, it reminds me some bottled Amber from Europe, not an Oktoberfest.

Sparkling clear, beautiful, copper-colored lager. Small, creamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, cocoa, leather and herbs. Very well-balanced flavor. Hearty and caramely with a very strong hop profile for the style. Full-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Moderately bitter, astringent, grassy finish.

Pours a clear copper amber with a thin wispy lightly-lacing off-white head. Authentic Vienna malty aroma has lots of toasty caramel and noble hop character. Starts with some sweet bready grainy maltiness and a good balance of noble hops. A well-balanced and authentic oktoberfest.

Bottle from kmweaver. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of caramel and earthy with some dough. Tastes of caramel and citrus with some peppery hints and a chewable vitamin finish.

12oz bottle. Nose of smoked corn, heavy maple and caramel, with the vienna malts very pronounced. Flavor is slightly sour caramel and maple flavored corn, sitting heavy on the tongue, nearly syrupy. Strange.
