Nejhleader (805), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 5, 2008 had on tap, pretty much your average octoberfest style. bit of a sweet malt flavor to it, refreshing.
f351c4v (244), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 29, 2008 Pours a clear, light amber color with a small white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and malt. Slightly sticky mouthfeel gives way to more sweet malts and caramel, with a buttery finish. Not my favorite style, but not bad... blipp (961), Grand Island, New York, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange amber with a white head. Sweet aroma with honey and an almost fruity quality. The flavor is also sweet with caramel, butterscotch and a light toasty quality. A very nice example of the style. dkachur (1070), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Nov 1, 2008 12 ounce bottle from Total Wine in Richmond. Pours a clear red color with a medium head. Low retention and lacing. Slightly corny malt aroma with some caramel notes. Big grain, cereal, bread notes along with some grassiness. Medium body. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Oct 18, 2008 Draught at Old Dominion Brewhouse, Washington DC
Light amber color. Some malt aroma, some malt, caramel and cereals flavor, medium body, light residual sweetness, correct bitterness... very simple, it reminds me some bottled Amber from Europe, not an Oktoberfest. KnN (351), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Oct 12, 2008 pours a decent looking amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is super malty and sweet. A little bit of biscuit and bread dough. Flavor is more of the same. Pretty clean finish, but just a touch on the sweet side. Definitely better octoberfests out there.
