unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Aug 9, 2009 12oz bottle @ 1st Annual RocketCity Brewfest, Huntsville, AL.
Orange color. watery body. Boring except for the nice hop bitterness. It is a Hop Tea, not a Beer.
08 may 09 mcc5468 (102), USA Aug 5, 2009 From a 12 oz. botltle. Pours a dark amber color. Light head. Aroma is sweet, almost reminds me of butter toffee. Taste is really malty, overpoweringly so. Tastes like butter. i think I may have gotten a bad bottle. This wasn’t good. ben4321 (948), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 3, 2009 Overall Impression:
A little surprised when I noticed I hadn’t rated this one. Dominion makes a pretty solid pale ale. I’ve had it out of the bottle a good number of times, do not recall ever consuming on tap, but I may have. Solid, well balanced, and easily drinkable brew. bhensonb (4180), Woodland, California, USA Jul 14, 2009 Tap at the Dulles location. Pours a rich reddish copper with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of citric hop. Flavor is lush floral and citrus hop over a decent malt backbone. Rather more ESB than APA. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. Not real bitter, but bitter enough. Pretty well balanced. Medium levels of bitter persist through the finish. Gets a bit astringent. Overall impression of lushness. cbeers21 (563), Miami, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2009 On tap at "brewhouse" in Dulles airport. Really nice floral aromas and slightly toasted malts here, good to smell. Full mouth flavor here with differing levels and a certain amount of complexity. Buttery fruited notes are balanced nicely by a sturdy piney hops presence and a buoyant floral touch. Easy to drink and very quenching. Very good. Went great with a nice spicy chili. Beershine (2677), Hue, Vietnam Jun 11, 2009 Tap at Dullas airport. Clear amber-red with small white head and splotchy lacing. Nice sprucey hops in aroma. Nice crispness. Finishes clean. Is herbal, dry, and piney with a nice malt backbone. Balanced and drinkable. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam May 29, 2009 At tap at IAD. Amber colour with a slight brown accent. Woody, cascadey aroma with tropical fruit accents. Woody taste with some sweetish malts. Strongly reminiscent of SNPA. Slightly sticky finish. l1br4r14n (274), Washington, Washington DC, USA Apr 25, 2009 Updated: Apr 28, 2009Draft. Pours a clear dark copper. Small off white head. Slight aroma of floral hops. Flavor is a bitter hop attack! After taste is dry and bitter. Not really picking up anything else. Low carbonation..
