Clear copper/amber hued brew. Faint, malt and hops nose, lightly citrusy. Light/medium body. Light maltines with a hint of citrus and some apricots as well. Finish is dry. An easy drinkin APA. madsberg (5062), Søborg, Denmark

Flavour is flowery, hoppy, malty and sweet. Has some fruity notes. Is light malty with a touch of bitterness in the end. I like this one. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 27, 2004 6/3/04 bottling date. Poured copper with vey small head. Aroma of fresh grains. Taste has a sharp hop bitter bite right up front. Actually the hops over power the maltiness that I’ve become used to from Dominion beers. Slight orange and spicy taste as well. Thanks Bert (Slob) for this. haddon90 (1039), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2004 On tap at the Brew Pub. Deep amber color with a decent sized cream colored head. Nice hoppy aroma. Some earthy notes as well. Hint of caramel in the flavor with the main stint of hops. A nice Pale Ale but doesn’t live up to the New River. ante (2969), Stockholm, Sweden

Floral, hoppy aroma with touches of toffee and butter. Nice! Flavour doesn’t live up to the aroma. Caramelly flavour with floral hops. Thin and empty palate. Medium bitter finish. Plus for label. Nice malty taste, well balanced. Surely complex. A worthy last of the session beer. SiddFinch (154), Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 7, 2004 Not what I expected. If I didn’t know better, I’d think they mislabeled my bottle. Very malty (caramel and toffee) and dominated by the taste of passion fruit (I’m not even sure what this is but it describes it well in my head and that’s all that matters).
I found this to be a very different Pale Ale and although I didn’t enjoy it very much, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different. Its well done, just not to my liking.
