It has a beautiful color and excellent taste. Just a pleasure to drink this beer. Then again, that isnt shocking since Dominion makes some of the best beers I’ve had so far. chrisfor (10), USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Dominion Pale Ale pours to a beautiful deep amber to ruby red color with a thick and creamy off white head, and a moderate amount of carbonation. The nose is awesome on this beer. Big waves of piney and citric hop aromas marry with some nice sweet, caramel malt, and toasty aromas. The palate is a sea of smooth maltiness, and it is this fantastic malt backbone, that supports the estery fruity, citric and herbal spicy hop flavors, that dance over the tongue. Dominion Pale Ale finishes with more malt, fruit, and hop flavors, then ends with a big blast of citric and piney hop bitterness that lingers. pilsnerrogge (1788), Finspång, Sweden

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 26, 2004 Immaculate copper. Creamy, slightly rocky ivory head. Sharp, barklike toasted malt scents interwoven with pine, English toffee, and marmalade. Subtly hoppy, but remarkably earthy. Beautifully conditioned, fine-bubbled carbonation. Gorgeously nuanced with earthy malts and vanilla, which underscore the prickly bitterness and tight piney assertions. Jellied malts complements the coarser malt elements. Softly floral hop center kissed with toffee and rich Munich. Well-rounded mineral flavor with a splash of their hallmark buttery yeast character. Ends persistently juicy with minty hop leaves wiping the palate clean, along with a deliciously coarse peach fuzz note and Cascades in the background complementing the subtleties of the nutty malt. Baffling complexity and balance. And thankfully, the acidity is never given a chance to detract from the hop and malt interplay, due to the thick malt body. Just another stunner from these Pale Ale gurus.

I also was shocked with incredible fresh, complex aroma. Other brew masters watch and learn! What else do you want? This very aromatic brew also got nice mouthfeel. With time also gives you soft warm feel. Great Brew!
