Commercial Description:
This rich, red ale is made in the American Pale Ale style. It has a strong hop character, medium body, dry finish, and floral hop aroma. We use pale Two-Row Brewer's malt, Caramel 80 and 40 Lovibond malt, and Munich malt. For bittering and aroma Willamette, Cascade, and Tettnang hops are used in the kettle and as dry hopping in the fermenter.

Copperish color, thin head, disipates quickly. A nice hop bite, not too bitter for a pale. Deep malty flavor. Lots of carmel. I like this beer.

Amber, small head. Hoppy nose, malts, astringently dry bitter hoppy finish; nice contrast with several far less interesting beers around it at the DBF.

Draught at Old Dominion Brewhouse, Washington DC
Deep blond color. Light but nice hop aroma. It has some malt flavor, getting better in the final, with a discreet hopping; quite strong bitterness, with fairly good hops. Pleasant.

On tap at KSBF ’08. Amber body with no head. Nose of fresh citrus. Flavor of pine and citrus. Pretty good.

Pours a light amber color with a small white head. Crisp hop aroma, cut grass and a touch of pine. Refreshing body, slightly bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle from VA. Copper red with a fizzy head. Caramel and hops aroma and taste with some mild bitterness, fairly well balanced.
