Compex nose - spicey, fruity, citrusy. Some grassy and butterscotch notes. Grassy, citrusy flavor - grapefruit and orange - followed by a dry citrus bite in the finish. I liked this a lot! | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2006 Draft at Old Dominion before RBSG 2006. Gold bodied. Hoppy, fruity(citrus) aroma. Taste is malty, sweet, hoppy, with ample citrus fruits, and light grassy notes. Body is medium and has a mild carbonation feel with some dryness towards the end. There’s a nice lingering bitterness as well. Finishes hoppy, semi-sweet and crisp with malt notes, and fruit(pears and citrus fruits). MrDick (281), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2006 On tap at Dominion. This pilsner has a floral aroma with some earthy undertones. A bit sour which I assume is because it is unfiltered. The alcohol is evident on the finish. There’s a lingering bitterness afterwards. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 11, 2006 (Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of light florals, toasted malt, citrus, and grass. Flavor of hops, light sweetness, and a bit of soapiness in the finish. hopscotch (5534), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Draft... Mostly clear, yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The earthy, fruity aroma delivers notes of toffee, grain, peach and citrus fruit. The assault on my tastebuds begins with the influx of a massive regiment of malty sweetness followed closely by an equally enormous calvary of mega-bitter hops. Lots of toffee followed by fresh, astringent grapefruit rind. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish. jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 11, 2006 On tap at Dominion. Pours a deep clear golden with a white frothy head. Prominent grassy noble hop nose. Sweet pils malt along with herbal, grassy notes from the hops. Pleasantly sweet with a hoppy, bitter finish - that’s not to say it’s unbalanced though. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. I hope this will be available all the time. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Clear golden with a dense white head that provides excellent lacing. The aroma is packed with noble hops and light bready malts. Hoppy, though not as hoppy as the Tupper’s Pils. Quite drinakble, especially at 7.5% abv. The alcohol never becomes overpowering. Medium crisp body. Good stuff and worth at try.
