On tap at the brewpub, RBSG 2006. A hazy yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet flowery combined with notes of hops. The flavor is nicely sweet with good notes of flowers and hops - the hops get more pronounced towards the end.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of light florals, toasted malt, citrus, and grass. Flavor of hops, light sweetness, and a bit of soapiness in the finish.

Draft... Mostly clear, yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The earthy, fruity aroma delivers notes of toffee, grain, peach and citrus fruit. The assault on my tastebuds begins with the influx of a massive regiment of malty sweetness followed closely by an equally enormous calvary of mega-bitter hops. Lots of toffee followed by fresh, astringent grapefruit rind. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish.

On tap at the brewpub on 7/16/06: Clear yellow golden color with a nicely-lacing thin white head. Aroma has a big Saaz hoppy character with some sweet Pilsner malt and some mild floral light fruitiness. Body starts with a viscous light malty sweetness and fresh floral Saaz hoppiness. Very nice and true to style.

Draught at Old Dominion for breakfast - RBSG DC 06 Golden clear color, thin head and lacing. Nose of citrusy, cat and fruity hops. The flavor is hoppy, nice fresh and grassy. Not much malt flavor, but the sweetness is balanced. Good like a san diego pale ale. The finish is fruity, good. I like the hops in this chief. Columbus?

Draft at Old Dominion before RBSG 2006. Gold bodied. Hoppy, fruity(citrus) aroma. Taste is malty, sweet, hoppy, with ample citrus fruits, and light grassy notes. Body is medium and has a mild carbonation feel with some dryness towards the end. There’s a nice lingering bitterness as well. Finishes hoppy, semi-sweet and crisp with malt notes, and fruit(pears and citrus fruits).
