phishpond417 (1521), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Aug 22, 2008 Another similar tasting brew compared to the other guat brews. Pours dark golden, big head this time but quickly loses it. Refreihng, but leaves a dirty taste in the mout. rcasta (339), El Salvador Jul 28, 2008 Commercial Description:
This is a cold-filtered Draft-style beer. It has a characteristic fine bitter taste and soft body. hopscotch (4679), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2007 Bottle... AWOL... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Grainy, herbal aroma. Sweet, pale malt flavor balanced nicely by soft, mineral bitterness. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and middling carbonation. Stale finish. Thus concludes A Week of Lagers!... thank God faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Dec 5, 2006 Bottle Golden yellow colour. Bit malty aroma with bit fruity hops. Bit waterish smooth flavour of malt. Noy much about it really but goes down easy. frankenkitty (1834), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Mar 2, 2006 Pours a perfectly flat, pallid yellow with a big, white, frothy head that leaves a substantial crust of lace. I’m greeted by cardboard, sulphur and DMS in the nose, with a small electrical fire and some metallics to finish... basically EVERYTHING you don’t want to smell in a beer except diacetyl. Flavor isn’t too bad... we have a light bodied, sweetish lager that finishes with mild bitterness. Best thing about this beer, however, is that I was able to knock off Guatemala without having to sample a Bahia.
