Can, alc. 5.5 % (BB 10/2008)
Pale yellow color, decent, although vanishing white head. Strong aroma of iron, corn and then when it warms up, raw alcohol. Grainy-papery malty flavor and suprisingly quite alcoholic. Harsh alcoholic aftertaste - similar to Baltic/Nordic strong lagers. Also hints of herbal hops. Quite different than their 4.7 % lager.

Nose has some cereal and slight banana. Pours slightly more golden than the less special stablemate. Flavour is like a slightly more mature standard, but still nothing hugely special. A reasonable, bog standard, hot weather lager.

0.33 l can. Golden color with small vanishing head. Some maltiness, alcohol, herbal hops and glue in the aroma. Malty, chewy, estery and lemony flavor. Unpleasant.

A Mes rate: Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest ’08
Fairly hazy blonde with a thin white head. Rather sweet, malty aroma with a bit of paper and veg but inoffensive thankfully. The more I drink of it the more sweet, malty and sickly it gets. Swift finish, thank god.
