50 cl bottle. Golden color, white head. Aroma is hops and sweet malt. Flavor is sweet malt and fine hoppy bitterness. Feels like a dry pilsener.

500 ml bottle. Golde colour. Hints of chill haze. Medium-sized white fine-lace head that clings to the glass. Medicinal tablet aroma from the hops obviously. Earthy. Lightly carbonated. More of the earthy hops in the flavour. Quite rounded and dry. Watery texture, but with quite a lot of flavour and a nice sharp hoppiness. Minty hop flavour. Very drinkable. English in character, and definitely not Czech, because of the hops and malts used.

Bottle picked up at Wareham off licence, Wareham, Dorset, 30-08-08 and consumed later that evening. Pours gold with white head, refreshing beer with a nice bitter bite, Craig’s description is spot on, so read that for more detail I’m being lazy as my notes were flimsy for this one in the fading light last night.

500 ml bottle. Label says ’Traditional Pilsener’. Well... Pours a slightly hazed pale golden body with a low greyish head. Quite aromatic considering the relatively low abv. Sweet caramel, a distinct grassy and earthy hoppiness, and some bready and fruity tones. Fairly dry and slight sour malt flavor. Nicely balanced by some solid bittering hops. Slim body. Ends up with a nice lingering bitterness. Likeable.

Bottle. Clear, pale golden with a decent white head. Hay nose. Good bitterness, mostly grassy hoppiness with caramel in the background. Light-bodied. Above average pilsner, but not terribly exciting.
