Dortmunder Kronen Export

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a finger-and-a-half worth of white head. Lacings. Malty, grassy nose with some faint notes of wet cardboard. You have to take a really deep, good sniff to get the wet cardboard aroma. Sweet malty flavor with some hay notes and a grassy, fruity note. Not much bitterness initially, but some occur in the finish. Medium body, quite fizzy. Dry. Quite drinkable, but I think it would be challenging to finish more than one bottle. 091010

Bottle. A light bitter aroma, some malt and quite a lot of hops. Also some bread. The white foamy head is medium large and stays normal long. The body is clear and yellow. The taste is a little bit like soap, later on it gets bitter. The body is light to medium, dry and a little bit creamy with a normal carbonation. The finish is light astringent.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Malty aroma with phenol notes. Sweet malty aroma with grassy hops and fruity notes. Finished dry and somewhat bitter.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Hildigöltur/Dixen. Clear yellow with a tall, dense and lively white head. Malty nose. Medium body, sweetish malt and a vague tartness. Dry and lightly bitter finish. 030409

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Dry phenolic and malt aroma. Sweet malt flavoured with a light hops bitterness. Sweet finish, light caramel touch and somewhat bitter.

Bottle 50cl. @ [ Ulfborg Tasting ].
Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, good - fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090114]

Courtesy of Fonefan. It is warm golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, fruit, light citrus and the finish is slightly dry. It is pleasant and easy to drink.

Bottle. Clear straw like appearance and poured with a medium head.Dry hoppiness with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. As far as I can remember this was the first Dortmunder I tried quite a few years ago.It was nice then and it still is.
