Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, good - fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Jul 15, 2007 Bottle, 5.1%. Fresh, subtle grass aroma. Clear shiny yellow colour. Nice, stable, chalky-white head. The flavour is quite malty with a hint of aroma hops. Very clean. Quite good export.

Nov 28, 2001 Upon a few resamples (it’s a regular here in Ontario), this honestly doesn’t bring quite the maltiness it did a few years ago. Though it is a good example, it is not as robust as Union Export, Great Lakes or Egger Naturgold.
Bloody hard to actually find the stuff in Dortmund, for some bizarre reason. You can’t even get it at the brewery’s restaurant, Kronen am Markt, though they make the complex, delicious Kronen Urtyp Hell there.

Jan 16, 2009 Courtesy of Fonefan. It is warm golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, fruit, light citrus and the finish is slightly dry. It is pleasant and easy to drink.
