Grainy and vegetable aroma. Pale golden color, white head, fair lace. Light, malty. Just a light bitter pilsner. Long lasting light hopbitter finish.

Hoppy, soapy aroma. Hoppy flavor with licorice, a bit soapy aftertaste. Well made, firm pilsener.

Decent beer . I enjoyed drinkig it . Distinctive aftertaste that gave Kronen beer few extra pts.

I used to live in Dortmund and I still think it is the best of all the pils brew there.

better than a lot of other mainstream german pilsners, with a nice soft malty body and some hop flavour, although pretty mild-mannered compared with most pilsners found North of Dortmund. rer8: intense decocted malt taste, followed by an abrupt, crisp, very dry and bitter finish. good clumping head. a little bit of licorice and mouthwash in the hop flavour. pretty assertive actually, just not that delicate or beautiful.
