Jun 16, 2004 My Favorite Dortmunder. Strong rich full flavor. Good pleasant aftertaste. What a pils should taste like. A+ all around.

Oct 8, 2001 Updated: Jun 19, 2003better than a lot of other mainstream german pilsners, with a nice soft malty body and some hop flavour, although pretty mild-mannered compared with most pilsners found North of Dortmund. rer8: intense decocted malt taste, followed by an abrupt, crisp, very dry and bitter finish. good clumping head. a little bit of licorice and mouthwash in the hop flavour. pretty assertive actually, just not that delicate or beautiful.
