Papsoe (10517), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 6, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear pale golden with a dense white head leaving some lacework. Clean and malty nose. Medium body with sweet malts. Dry and lightly hoppy finish. A very straight Pils. 041008 MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Oct 4, 2008 Bottle, 4.9%. Weak hay aroma. Pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off bready, turns clean. OK bitterness in the finish. Quack-Duck (1906), Bodensee, Germany Apr 29, 2008 bottle. Clear pale yellow, big head. Aroma of resiny hops. Only shy hoppy flavours, medium-bodied, slightly malty. joss (3144), Garching b. München, Germany Jul 5, 2007 Bottle. Cardboardy and metallic nose. Pale golden, foamy head. Sweet malt base I did not expect from the aroma, ok bitter counter, hops are somewhat one-dimensional though. Sparkly, medium chewy mouthfeel. Quick finish. raymondwave (797), Finland Mar 6, 2007 I don’t know if it’s only the fact I’ve had finnish beers for almost a month before this, but this one is truly good. Some yeastiness in the nose, but the flavor is really good. Smoothly bitter with a very pleasant hoppiness. A little sweet and flowery with smooth carbonation. I really liked it. Very pleasant, not too crisp.
