Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

My favorite Mexican Dark Lager so far. Pours a nice Amber Color with a white head. No real distinguished smell. Very Carbonated like your normal lager beer. Great with a lime and a good spanish dinner.

Tap at the Dutch Cabin. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head which belies the disappointment to come. No real aroma to speak of aside from a hint of something vaguely resembling beer. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. No finish aside from an odd aftertaste ripe with corn. I like corn, and the beer at least looked ok, but quite a let down from the fond memories I have of having ordered this over the American macro trash while out at dive Mexican places.

Bottled@Delirium Cafe, Gothenburg 2006. Amber colour with small white head. Rick carbonation. Aroma is maize and some slight toffeelike notes as well as grass. Flavour is the same. Rather watery.

12oz bottle. Clear brown with a short white head. No lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel and cereal, possibly some grassy hops and, corn. Taste is the same, only watery. Works for Mexican food as there is nothing to fill you up. The original XX is better.

Bottle. Mild caramel malt aroma. Reddish amber body, small head. Very mild but not disagreeable flavor.

not too bad of a beer for a warm weather climate, tad weak but with some aspirations to an amber lager. weird lemony taste on my last try.

A pretty good beer for a macro brew. I enjoyed the malty flavour. it had more character than the regular Dos XX

Deep amber body with a small tan head. Moderated aroma of caramel, some metalic hops, yeast. Weak body with a minimal roasted, caramel malt taste, grassy hop. Light citrus and caramel aftertaste.
