A pretty good beer for a macro brew. I enjoyed the malty flavour. it had more character than the regular Dos XX

Deep amber body with a small tan head. Moderated aroma of caramel, some metalic hops, yeast. Weak body with a minimal roasted, caramel malt taste, grassy hop. Light citrus and caramel aftertaste.

Sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear, light amber brew with a thin off-white head that disappears clean when served at 35° F. Aroma of golden grain and caramel malt, some grassy hops and a hint of corn. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation and flavors of multi-grain malt, a touch of corn, caramel and grassy hops. Finish is slightly sweet with some citrus zest and plenty of water.

Man, I used to order this at mexican restaurants when I first turned 21. How far I have come. Just picked one of these out of my parents fridge and couldn’t even finish half of it. Its pretty gross. Very watery, somehow I remember some flavor, but no, there is none to be found. Semi-sweet mexican crap. Horrible. Corona with a lime might be better.

I liked it, it was a nice deep amber pour, almost a rust. almost no head with slight carbonation. It was thin, with charachteristics of malt and slight hoppyness but not much. A good beer with mexican food though. Get it with a lime!

Best served as a 32 oz. pour at a good cheap Mexican restaurant. A nice reddish pour with a pleasing malt character. Good in large quanties with spicy food +/- the lime.
