Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Plasticy aroma. Appearance is nothing special, decent head. Tastes like mushy, moldy malt. no real bitterness. Plasticy finish.

Tap.A medium amber color, with an off white head. Verry little in the way of aroma, slight malt and metal. Flavor is week malt,a hint of fruit, and a tiny hop finish. The only half way good beer at the local Mexcan place, goes good with my burrito though.

A pretty good beer froim Mexico. A Pretty standard dark however. Interesting plain aroma of malts and dried grain. Limited hop taste and flavour. Overall, the mouthfeel is boring and makes this beer fairly average on a whole.

Bottle: pours an amber color. Some malt taste and some dryness that is complimented with a watered down taste. Not very good.

(bottle - 12 oz) Amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some hops and grass. Flavor is pretty similar. Rather sweet and candy-like with hints of malts and some caramel at the end. A bit watery.

Bottle (355ml). Poured in-between amber and copper with a small, rocky, off-white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of sweet caramel malts with maple syrup, cranberries, odd cobweb-like notes and dusty old nuts (the type found underneath the couch). Flavor was of sweet, buttery malts with virtually no bitterness, brown sugar, dust, cobwebs and strange notes stale/bad nuts in the aftertaste. Light bodied with lively carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, watery texture and a short finish.

Pours light to medium dark amber with a beige/ almost white head. Aromas of sweet apple, touch of caramel, and a little hops. Flavors of apple, corn, caramel, other grains and a malty sweetness. Slightly bitter end. Watery. Not to bad. I enjoyed this more than Dos’s other beer.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant beer. It is great to drink with ACP. It has a deep Amber color to it and is very rich and hearty. I must say that I enjoy this beer a lot.
