Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Always heard a lot about Dos Equis. Boring, and unmemorable. Decent, drinkable, mexican beer. Maybe add another equis.

22oz draught. Pours a dark amber color with a thin off-white head that settles quickly. Little lacing. Aroma is faint, perhaps some malt, some grass, hops. Flavor is faint as well with just some notes of sweet malt and grass. Quick finish with a little bitterness.

Copper color that is suppose to resemble a vienna lager but I can’t compare since a real vienna lager is hard to find these days. Small white head with a light malty taste. One of the better Mexican beers.

From tap at Yards in Pasadena. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Light caramelish dry aroma. Flavour holds a mild bitterness to this dry caramel note. Dry and bitter finish.

Deep copper in the glass with a light maltyness on the nose. Watery beginning with subtle tasty roasted malt coming through in the finish. A decent beer yet lacking flavor relative to expectations.

[1294-20080414] 355mL bottle. Cardboard moss aroma has mild earth and mild fruity yeast characteristics. Clear, amber orange body with quick foamy white bubbles. Mild grainy sand flavour has mild yeast alcohol. Medium body is a little thin. Nothing bad, just bland.
