A decent beer overall. Tastes a little bit different than most common lagers. Does not have the same crappy taste as all other mexican beers that I’ve had.

A generally enjoyable beer as long as you’re not setting your hopes too high. Indeed hints of caramel and brown sugar, no hop or malt detectable. Acceptable. Unmemorable.

12 oz bottle-pours a nice clear amber with a tan head that reduced fairly quickly. The red-amber color comes out with a frothy foam. Flavour is a sweet-malt front with a finish that balanced to a slightly bitterness. Excellent beer with nachos or the usual fajita fair. However I would not keep it in the fridge for my beer friends.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of sweet malt, some hints of spice and pepper. Tastes malty and sweet with some bitterness on the finish.

Draft at Tampa airport. Amber/copper pour thin white head, Aroma of caramel / hops. Taste is malty and caramely, crisp, leaves an after taste of pilsner. For some reason the bartender put a slice of lemon in the beer. Probably better than the average other Mexican lagers out there.

12oz bottle. pours clear reddish-brown color, eggshell colored head. aroma of corn and light toast. Nutty. Austin Powers "nutty". Flavor is of water and corn. Gross. I’ll stick with the green bottle of Dos Equis XX when I’m stuck in Mexico.

Good: Crisp and easy to drink. Had a dark beer after taste to it but a lager feel to it Bad: Felt very "hollow" which confused me when the dark after taste came through. Overall: I’ll try again I’m sure, but I wont go out of my way to do so.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a nice looking clear amber with nice off-white head, good retention. Not much aroma, very faint caramel with a very light touch of maple. Flavor of faint caramel malt and hops, balanced. Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation...Over all, it is a tasty easy drinking beer....
